Affiliate - A person or organization that wishes to earn sales commissions marketing the Calnique™ Custom Calendar & Organizer.

Affiliate Profit Sharing™ - A Lifetime payout to qualified Affiliates. The sum is calculated by dividing 10% Net Company Profits by the total number of Affiliates qualified. This is calculated and paid out to each qualified Affiliate monthly. Affiliates will automatically qualify when they have 10 Retail Sales.(Effective September 1st, 2003)

Alarm Clock - An audible feature that reminds the user of a time specific event.

Calnique™ - The Custom Calendar produced by Specialty Calendars™.

Commission - Net monies earned by Affiliate for sales.

Cookie - A block of text up to 255 characters in length that is sent to a prospective buyer or Affiliates web browser from our website when visiting. This cookie is used for sales tracking and identifying purposes only. A cookie cannot be used to get data from their hard drive, get their email address or access any sensitive information about them as an individual. It is used solely for crediting sales commissions and Affiliate placement. The expiration date for our cookies is 10 years.

Custom Theme - A unique downloadable graphic file that defines and creates the look and feel of the Calnique™ Custom Calendar.

Daily Tasks - The users daily schedule found in the Calnique™ Custom Calendar. There are three views to choose from: Monthly, Weekly and Daily.

Email Reminder - This feature allows an email to be sent to the Calnique™ user reminding them of any upcoming event. Additionally, it may also be set to email and remind all the users friends and family.

E-Tell™ - An email sent by an Affiliate to a friend, family member or prospective website via Tell-A-Friend™, or Tell-A-Site™, the marketing utilities provided by Specialty Calendars™.

E-Tracker™ - A ledger found in the Lounge that displays all your E-Tells™ for Tell-A-Friend™ and Tell-A-Site™. This includes, to whom it was sent, when it was sent, their status and how many times they've been contacted.

Fixed Rate - A flat rate purchase price for Wholesale License Agreements available to all Affiliates. After an Affiliate has 10 cumulative wholesale purchases, they have a fixed rate of purchase at $13.00 per Wholesale License Agreement, regardless of quantity purchased and when. After 25 cumulative wholesale purchases, they have a fixed rate of $12.00 each. After 50 wholesale purchases, they have a fixed rate of $11.00 each. And, after 100 or more cumulative wholesale purchases, they have a fixed rate of $10.00 each.

Gift-Tracker™ - A special utility designed to manage of all of your gifted License Agreements.

JotSpot™ - A specific area on the Month View of the calendar allowing for unlimited quick notes of any type.

Journal Manager - An organized database for keeping a written log or diary.

Lead Tracker™ - An editable table available to all Affiliates to use in conjunction with Tell-A-Friend™ and Tell-A-Site™. Here, an Affiliate can store important contact information about prospective buyers and Affiliates.

Ledger - A printable table that Affiliate's will have access to providing a running summary of their sales activity. This is located in the Lounge.

License Agreement - This agreement gives the Registered User the Lifetime right to use the software on their computer.

Lounge - Affiliates and Registered Users will have access to this area at the website to track their stats, receive current company news and share ideas regarding Calnique™.

Matching Bonus - This is an $8.00 bonus earned when a sponsored Affiliate sells a non-owned License Agreement.

Net Company Profits - The total of monthly operating expenses subtracted from monthly gross revenues.

Net Profit - The excess revenue from a sale of an Owned License Agreement.

Non-Owned License Agreement - All License Agreements owned the company and sold via an Affiliates referral.

Owned License Agreement - All License Agreements purchased by Affiliates at Wholesale. These agreements allow Affiliates to substantially increase their earnings via resale.

PassMaster™ - This utility is designed to safely and securely store the users various offline and online account information. This can include personal identification numbers, account numbers, email addresses, user names, passwords, websites and forums.

Piracy - Transferring or disclosing your Registration Key to a third party without the express written consent of the Specialty Alliance Corporation™. The Specialty Alliance Corporation™ prosecutes piracy to the fullest extent as provided by law.

Private Address Book - A full-featured personal organizer for storing phone numbers, email addresses, mailing address and personal information.

Product - The Calnique™ Custom Calendar & Organizer and Wholesale License Agreements for retail sale.

Registered Affiliate - A person or organization that purchases the Calnique™ Custom Calendar for $24.00 and is also an Affiliate.

Registered User - A person or organization that purchases the Calnique™ Custom Calendar for $24.00. It includes free Lifetime upgrades.

Registration - Purchasing the Calnique™ Custom Calendar software for $24.00.

Rep Agreement - This agreement outlines the sales terms and conditions of Retail sales and Wholesale License Agreements between Affiliates and the Specially Alliance Corporation™.

Request-A-Check™ - Affiliates may use this utility at any time they wish to receive a commission check. Affiliates are allowed one free request per calendar month. Any requests following that in the same calendar month, a $3.00 service charge is applied.

Retail - The Calnique™ Custom Calendar at a cost of $24.00.

Retail Sale - The sale of Calnique at $24.00.

SAC Number - A number assigned to Affiliates by the Specialty Alliance Corporation™ which uniquely identifies them to the company.

Sale - The purchase of a Calnique™ Custom Calendar License Agreement at Retail or the purchase of License Agreements at wholesale.

Signature File - A simple one line statement or small paragraph you often see in emails or in forums at the bottom of the body text usually containing information or a link. Affiliates may effectively use these to gain awareness about Specialty Calendars™.

SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. Simply stated, this is the system that sends and receives your email. This must be set up in order to utilize Email Reminders.

Software - The Calnique™ Custom Calendar program.

Specialty Alliance Corporation™ - The parent company of Specialty Calendars™.

Specialty Calendars™ - A subsidiary of the Specialty Alliance Corporation™ and the producer of Calnique™.

Special Event - This is an event such as a Birthday or Anniversary. This is signified with a special icon on the calendar interface.

Sponsor - The person or business that referred your Registration sale or you becoming an Affiliate.

Spyware - This is also known as "adware". It is a hidden software program that transmits user information via the Internet to advertisers in exchange for free downloaded software. The Specialty Alliance Corporation™ does NOT use Spyware in any form or fashion, or will do business with companies that do.

Stat-Tracker™ - A specific area in the Lounge that provides an easy view of important statistics including: Your status, Ledger balance, Owned License Agreements, Registrations sold and how many Affiliates you have sponsored.

Tell-A-Friend™ - A marketing tool that utilizes an email referral utility. This is available to Affiliates in order to efficiently utilize word-of-mouth advertising.

Tell-A-Site™ - A marketing tool that utilizes an email referral utility. This is used to effectively contact potential websites about becoming an Affiliate.

Tier - Two series of limitless rows placed one above another. Sales and Affiliates personally referred are on the first row or "Tier 1". Sales and Affiliates they refer are on the second row or "Tier 2". Affiliates earn 25% sales commission on their Wholesale Volume on these two tiers.

Time Synchronizer - A built in component that connects to a universal time server via the Internet. It detects the users time zone and adjusts the PC clock to the most accurate time available.

User's Manual - A complete set of instructions on how to setup and use Calnique™. This is accessed through the program itself.

Wallpaper - The picture or image that sits on your desktop behind your shortcuts. Calnique™ may be set to save as your wallpaper for easy viewing when the program is closed.

Wholesale - Any transaction, which involves the sale or purchase of two (2) or more Product(s) at a discounted rate for retail sale.

Wholesale License Agreement - License Agreements purchased at wholesale sold to Affiliates. The purchase price for Wholesale License Agreements are as follows:

1-9 - $17.00 each

10-24 - $13.00 each

25-49 - $12.00 each

50-99 - $11.00 each

100+ - $10.00 each

Wholesale Volume - The dollar amount of License Agreements purchased by Affiliates at Wholesale. Affiliates earn 25% sales commission of volume purchased on two tiers.
